Last Thursday, i go back to Scicom Academy to submit my documentation, so that i wear jeans, slipper and t-shirt. After i submit all the things, my tutor found that i'm qualify for Astro Customer Service, and at the same time, Astro operation manager was around the building and having interview section. So my tutor try her best get the interview opportunity for me, and finally i get that opportunity.
I totally no prepared for interview, i not mentally and physically prepared!!! I meet with another interviewee, they all wear business suit, make up and wear high heel!!! I was the only women who wear slipper, t-shirt and jeans. I was so nervous on that time!!!!And i think that, i won't get the job,because they look like more talent and profesional than me!!!
But after that, i tell myself, Carmen, are u really want the job? if you really want it, why u keep look down on yourself? why u need to be scare? you are LP138!!! and i not allow you to close yourself and doing the same things like before!!! I need to do somethings different!!!!
I was last interviewee!! the first thing that i do when interview was apologize. I tell her that i'm so sorry becouse i not dressing properly, and why i here today is just to submint my document, and i'm no physically prepared for interview, but i'm glad and happy that i get the opportunity for interview, and i really want and interest to be Astro employee.
The first question that she ask was " tell me about yourself".
I started with tell her about my education background, then i said that "i am a open, caring and confidence women", and keep talking and tell her that i really committed in Astro.
Second question was " what is your goals?"
i answered :" i want to be operation manager like you in 5 years time" and i continuous with tell her what i know about operation manager, why i want to be OP and why i qualify to be OP.
Last question was " what motivated you?"
I answered : " Because i have COMPELLING DESIRE to be Operation Manager, so that MY DESIRE AND MY GOAL WILL DETACT MY ACTION, NOT MY FEELING, ASSESTMENT AND EVALUATION" hahaha!!!!!! i use all the LP distinction!!!!! During the interview, i being spontaneous, confidence, open and honest!!!! i keep talking and talking, i didn't care about the limitation of my language, grammer and vocabulary!!! i just keep talking and tell her what inside my mind and i listen to my heart and answer with honest.
After i answer the last question, the interviewer tell me " CARMEN, U GET THE JOB! 2MORO COME FOR TRAINING"
Wow!!!! is really is a Wow for me!!!! i am so exciting and i can't believe that i done it and i get it!!!!! hahahahahah!!!!!! After that, i sit inside my car and try to recall all the conversation that i have before, and i found that, i really can't believe that i done it!!!!! hahahahah!!!!!!
Then the next day i go for the training class, and the tutor let us knw that, they have 100 interviewee during the interview section, but only 8 of us get the job, and i was 1 of the them!!!!!! hahahahahah!!!! I was proud of myself!!!!! i was only one who wear slipper, jeans and t-shirts, but i get the job!!!!!
So, LP138!!!! What next?!!! When u want to be different?!!! If you really want somethings, just go ahead and get it!!!! When you do it, u will found that, actually it doesn't have any barrier in front of you!!!!! LP138, because of you all, i become confidence!!! because i knw that, i will always get the support from you all!!!! I love you alll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
